SFL Marine Pros exists because South Florida boat owners deserve better than a dockside rumor and a prayer — and honest marine pros deserve better than competing against uninsured operators on price alone.
The problem we solve
Hiring marine service in South Florida runs on two bad options: directories that list anyone who pays, and word of mouth that doesn’t scale past one marina. Meanwhile the records that matter already exist — state business registrations, insurance certificates, manufacturer credentials, review histories. They’re just scattered, stale, and nobody’s job to check. Now it’s ours. The regional marine industry is one of the largest in the country — the Marine Industries Association of South Florida estimates $18.5 billion in regional economic output — and until now it has had no verification layer of its own.
What we are
We’re a verification and booking layer. We check every listed pro’s Florida business registration against Sunbiz, verify their insurance and track its expiry, check claimed credentials against the issued documents, and audit their review record — monthly and quarterly respectively, for as long as they’re listed. Boat owners book through us for free; pros pay a subscription for the badge and the booked work it brings. Our pros’ phones are answered around the clock by the Answer305 AI receptionist team, part of the same company.
