Honest first: detailing has no governing license or certification — anyone can buy a buffer and call themselves a detailer. We don’t invent a credential to pretend otherwise. What we verify is what actually predicts whether a detailer shows up, does careful work, and stands behind it:

- Insurance, verified with expiry tracked — general liability (and workers’ comp where they have a crew); a lapse suspends the badge automatically. This matters at marinas: an uninsured detailer’s accident becomes your problem and the marina’s.
