Launch Service · Marine AC & Refrigeration · Broward

Cold air on the boat, from a tech whose credentials are real.

Marine air conditioning fails at the worst moments — and the fix involves refrigerant, raw-water pumps, and electrical work in tight spaces. Our marine AC pros carry documented refrigerant credentials on top of the platform’s registration and insurance checks.

What’s Covered

The work, in plain terms.

  • Marine AC diagnostics and repair — not cooling, tripping, leaking
  • Chiller and self-contained system service
  • Refrigeration: freezers, ice makers, cold plates
  • Raw-water pumps, strainers, and thru-hull flow problems
  • New system installation and replacement quotes
  • Preventive maintenance before the summer load hits

What “verified” means for a marine AC pro

Marine AC is one of the launch services where a real credential exists — and we check it like one:

  • EPA Section 608 certification — legally required to service refrigerant systems. The technician’s 608 card is document-verified where the pro does refrigerant work. Claiming marine AC service with no 608-certified tech on staff is a red flag in our audit, full stop.
  • Manufacturer training (Dometic, Webasto, and others) is shown only where the issued documents back it — a logo on a website is not verification.
  • Florida business registration — active on Sunbiz, re-checked monthly — and insurance verified with expiry tracked, with automatic suspension on lapse.
  • The review record, audited quarterly — including how the company handled the callbacks, because AC work is where callbacks live.
